WHO WE ARE
The youth movement at the Armenian NPP (hereinafter YM) is an informal, noncommercial group of young employees of the Armenian NPP, the participation in which is based on the principle of voluntary and gratuitous performance in the framework of the WANO activities aimed at the Armenian NPP safety and reliability improvement.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
- Upgrading of qualifications and professional excellence,
- Preservation and transfer of knowledge and operating experience to the younger generation,
- Launching and implementation of professional initiatives of the youth,
- Reserve training to ensure succession for key positions,
- Communication and exchange of experience at a personal level among young specialists from different enterprises and countries,
- Extensive familiarization of the young people with the WANO activities,
- Assistance and support for WANO plans and objectives.
PERFORMANCE
- Involvement of YM participants in international missions conducted at the Armenian NPP and other NPPs of the WANO,
- Participation in development and implementation of corrective actions based on the results of international missions,
- Participation in development and implementation of actions according to the WANO guidelines,
- Professional development through participation in workshops, training courses, working meetings organized by the WANO, IAEA and other organizations.
MEMBERSHIP IN THE YOUTH MOVEMENT
Enrollment in the youth movement is implemented on the basis of a personal application of the employee (who complies with the requirements mentioned below) to the WANO MC representative at the Armenian NPP and a reference letter from the manager of the corresponding department.
The recommended number of the YM participants is not more than 25 people.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE YM PARTICIPANTS
- Recommended age – under 35 years old,
- Command of Russian and/or English,
- Higher vocational education,
- Work experience at the «HAEK» CJSC not less than 3 years, which ensures knowledge and understanding of plant technological processes,
- Voluntary wish and ability to perform functions of a YM participant,
- Organizing skills, sociability, ability to work in a team, creative and responsible attitude towards work,
- Striving for professional growth and continuous improvement of their knowledge and skills.
