Suren Papikyan, the RA Minister of Territorial Adfministartion and Infrastructures, today has presented Eduard Martirosyan, the newly appointed Director General to the Armenian NPP personnel.

«The ANPP plays a significant role in the economy and, in particular, in the energy field of our country. Taking into consideration the strategic importance of the power plant, I do hope that Mr. Martirosyan’s long-term experience in the field of National Safety will serve to the best of the plant’s efficiency and reliability improvement»,-stated Suren Papikyan, wishing success to the newly-appointed director in his forthcoming activities.

The ANPP Director General, Eduard Martirosyan in his turn thanked for the trust and expressed his confidence that it will be justified owing to the joint efforts and the team work of the leaders and best specialists of the energy field.

The Minister Suren Papikyan also addressed the topic of the forthcoming activities related to the plant maintenance and modernization, specifically, the organization of procurement process and the maintenance activities for the first time via the state funds and the internal procedures.

According to the Minister, in order to ensure a new quality when organizing the professional activity of the power plant has lately undergone also structural changes, by which the new positions of the Director General and the First Deputy of the Director General- ANPP Director have been established.

The Minister wished success to the senior management of the organization and under the direct management of the Director General expressed his confidence in a successful cooperation and a productive activity.
