The management of the HAEK CJSC, represented by Eduard Martirosyan, General Director, took part in the sixteenth WANO General Meeting in Prague, Czech Republic. According to the agenda the theme of the conference was “One WANO – A Commitment to Nuclear Excellence”.

After a long pause this was the first opportunity to meet at the level of leaders of important industry organizations from about 30 countries that are members of the Association and to discuss key issues and prospects for the power industry.

During the conference the WANO Executive Director presented the organization's new long-term strategy to the delegates, then the nuclear industry leaders made presentations and many discussions were held with the involvement of the audience.

According to the agenda Artur Grigoryan, Chief Engineer of the ANPP also made a presentation that was devoted to the integration of the indicators of the WANO plant monitorings into the ANPP performance indicators system.

In the framework of the BGM, on the initiative of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, a panel discussion was also held, which provided a wide opportunity for discussions between the delegations.
