From 30 October to 2 November, 2023 E. Martirosyan, General Director of the HAEK CJSC took part in the regular session and the general meeting of the Governing Board of the WANO Moscow Center. During the session he delivered a report providing the description and the assessment of the WANO-MC activities, as well as the decisions made by the Moscow Center over the last six months (April-October, 2023).

During the meetings issues related to planning the organization’s performance, its financial condition, constant implementation of effective measures to improve the safety of nuclear power plants and other priority issues were also discussed.

At the end of the business trip to Minsk a technical tour to the Belarusian NPP was organized. Based on the information provided to the participants about the main areas of the unit operation and the results of the general tour the level of safety culture at the Belarusian NPP was commended. The HAEK CJSC General Director focused on some of the results of good practice for the purpose of their possible application at the Armenian NPP.
